  We needed to get our car titled and have gone up there three different times now and had to leave without being helped because we ran out of time. The first time we waited and hour and a half. The second time the same. The third time we waited a half hour. We tried different times of the day all three times. It has been taking about 20 minutes per person. And at times our number was 14 people back! There is only one window open for this. Please open another!

  I've gone to the new location which is about 6 store fronts to the left of where it used to be. The new place is clean and better organized. When you enter you have to get a ticket for the line from a high tech ticket printer which sorts people by "license renewal " or "New Title" "New Plates". You can pay with a visa debit card or credit card and the line moves at a good pace. The staff was friendly and helpful and I spent WAY less time there than when it was at the old location.

  Arrived at 11:45 on a weekday. Need signage stating "Take Number Here". 2 of 3 "New Title Employees" at lunch while the 1 available spent 20 minutes with one customer. When it was finally my turn, the employee was very negative and unfriendly. I had the title with the buyers name clearly printed along with the address and selling price. I also have a computer printed bill of sale, my personal property tax receipt, my state inspection form and my insurance card with the new buyers name and address. The employee stated she couldn't read the title and got frustrated and walked away. When she returned she said I'll do it but Jefferson City will refuse to process because she can't read it. Then she went on to complain about not being able to read the selling price. When I stated you have for documents to support the information on the back of the tile she finally took care of my transaction. Jefferson City had no issues with the back of the title as I receive my new title in less than two weeks.
